Children will not get the opportunity to telephone home during the week, mainly because they will be too busy with activities, but we do encourage parents to write as letters are very much appreciated by the children (NB it is a good idea to post the letter in advance of the trip!). Address the envelope clearly with your child's name and Cockenzie Primary School.
Please avoid calling school camp to speak to your child, however if there is a genuine emergency please call school in the first instance and someone will contact the group. For out of hours emergencies please call the telephone number provided by Mrs Corr in your parent information pack. School staff attending camp will be issued with your contact details should we need to get hold of you for any reason.

KIT LIST
We hope that this suggested list will prove helpful to you when packing with your child. They will also bring home a printed copy. Please sellotape it inside their case lid to assist them when packing for the return journey. Tick each item as you pack it, noting the colour and quantity. When it is time for your child to pack for coming home, he/she can then change the tick to a cross when the item is safely back in the case. Please remember there is absolutely no need to buy new clothes for camp and PLEASE PUT YOUR CHILD'S NAME ON EVERY ITEM!
